"Was in need of a portable jump start unit for my motorcycle and purchased a PODx. The package looked old and opened. However I needed to get my bike started and the store was about to close. I purchased what I thought was a new item, but when I open the box, the unit was missing the cord to charge the POD. I quickly went inside and the CS agent opened another box that looked like the one I had and it too was missing the same cord. He ultimately gave me a cord from some random box of stuff under the counter. It seemed to fit so I left. Upon further investigation, it seems that Cycle Gear sells “Used” or “opened” items at a reduced price, (about 1/2 of what I paid). Does the unit work? Yes. I got my bike started. However, I think I paid full price for a used, incomplete unit. Not happy about that. Maybe I’ll return it and get my money back."
